With over a decade of barbecue expertise, Shannon Bingham, the New Orleans chef and mind behind Buttermilk, makes his DC debut at The Roost with a deceptively simple menu anchored in golden fried deliciousness.
“Outside of barbecue, I’ve always leaned towards fried chicken - it just makes people feel comfortable,” says Shannon. “It’s really no surprise the trajectory of my career has led me down this path, and I’m really excited to bring this new concept to life.”
